Merrrrh. This is a hard one to answer.
I’m actually pretty open minded to all kinds of people, dating-wise. The “uptight” thing comes from me having my guard up. I try to avoid being used for merely physical things, or even certain emotional things — some people are just looking for a girlfriend and they project their ideal onto me, and when expectation doesn’t match reality, there’s disappointment all around.
I guess, though, for me to date someone, I’d want to be able to have a really good conversation with him, but silence wouldn’t be uncomfortable. He’d understand my ridiculous sense of humor and wouldn’t be afraid to argue with me. He’d have a pretty decent grasp on school, politics, and culture. Ideally, he’d like to travel and would walk my dog with me. But, me being comfortable with the person is probably the most important factor.
Physically, though? Tall, skinny/lean-muscled, smiley, and well-endowed in the hugging department wins 100% of the time.
